We see different ethnicity coming together and celebrating the Olympics
Text two - Article
Positive representation
Article is shown as really pitied and dangerous as in the modern society we don't find educated
white middle aged mother and a black farther living together seen as stereotypical
Links to Fran Janon's theory and shows that the meddle class
are putting on masks as they are a family living together and the two young daughters are going out
in the night partying which doesn't seem suitable

ReplyDeleteEBI: FAR too many basic errors here. By Aldorov I'm assuming you mean Alvarado (confused with Todorov?) and Fran Janon = Frantz Fanon. You can't make errors like this in coursework or exam situations - it will send a very negative message to whoever is marking it. You also need to check your work carefully - you say the article is a positive representation. Are you sure? Positive about what?
LR: Look again at the Daily Mail article. How does it represent black middle class people and what theories does it challenge/reinforce?
